Howe Knoll Farm is located in historic Tunbridge, Vermont, home of the famous Tunbridge World's Fair. David and Carley Howe started planting balsam fir seedlings in 1990 and each year plant more to establish a crop rotation program. In the last few years seedlings are only planted to replace trees harvested on this small farm. Many of our satisfied customers come back to tell us how their trees stayed fresh throughout the holiday season with no needle loss. Starting the first week in December families may choose and cut their own with bow saws furnished or we will help you cut it
If you drive up to pick out your tree in person, you'll see this sign, but granddaughter Kelly may or may not be standing next to it.
Unlike the big Christmas Tree farming outfits, my trees (over 3,000 in all) are still individually hand trimmed by me personally. It may take longer this way, but I think you'll see the difference...my arms do!
You caught me showing off my other hobbies: Playing with the grandkids and driving one of my John Deere tractors.
Grandchildren Andrew and Corrine have found their perfect tree.
